Challenge
For a long time, we've aspired to simplify the process of building and publishing OpenText digital content, making it more accessible and impactful. We needed one stop spot for all of the web and UI elements, including the patterns, components, templates, complete documentation as well as the web tools.
The main idea was to develop a solution for creating an intuitive and readable user experience. With user-friendly interface, where the users can easily copy and paste components to get started, streamline the workflow and enhance productivity. Also we one of the challenges was to create a frame work that works for multiple CMS and instances.
Process
Developed in Figma, ot.digital seamlessly combines cutting-edge functionality with the latest technology. Our journey began with a deep understanding of user needs, followed by wireframing, high-fidelity designs, user testing, and continuous improvement.
It was a cross-collaboration effort between the UX, development, and publishing teams.
Impact
High rate of internal user adoption and satisfaction. Scalable and easy to use, the portal has extremely important role in branding consistency and provide wide variety of tools such as QR code generator, short url creator, redirecting tool, etc.
